HELLO
My name is Grant.
I am a twenty something storyteller based in MauI, HI. I got my first camera a Canon Powershot A3300 when I was 13 by for filling my duty as a little brother to copy everything my big bro did. Fast forward a bit and I explored the world of iPhone photography and somewhere along the way after a few more investments, hundreds of YouTube videos, and thousands of pictures. This hobby of mine turned into my Job. My mom always told me if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life. All I can say is she was right!
I grew up in San Pedro, California AKA SoCal. I was homeschooled and I hope you could not tell lol. I have always had a love for art in many different forms. I got to attend Los Angeles Harbor College Culinary Program between 2012-2013. After becoming a certified chef (whatever that means lol) I was blessed to work for an amazing wedding planner Wendy Bouma Owner of WBeventplanning. After working as Wendy’s part time baker/assistant for a few years, I took on a new roll in the wedding world as a professional DJ/MC with an incredible family known as VoxDJs from 2015-2020. between these 2 jobs I have worked in the wedding industry for 8 years now.
How It All Started.
In 2020 I decided to pack up and hop across the ocean to Maui and see what this island life is all about. I absolutely love it! I asked myself, “If you could do anything what would you do?” and my answer was simple. I want to be creative and I want to give. Those have always been my favorite things.So I decided to start To Give Of Great Worth.
I think memories are one of the most special things we can give to someone. It is truly one of my favorite parts about my job to know that I can catch so many special moments that will be cherished forever! I love to give my very best each opportunity I get to capture someone’s moments. I will never not be stoked to give someone a piece of their history in the most beautiful, unique, and genuine way that I can.
I have also always loved supporting businesses that give back and I knew I wanted my business to be rooted in giving. So after many months of planning I landed on this idea to pick a different cause I believe in each month and donate 10% of whatever that month’s income is as well as set 5% aside each month to create a fund that will go towards being able to provide free professional creative content for different causes that need some help getting their name out there.
It is my hope that this business would be a blessing to all!

Who Is Grant Sterling?
My all-time favorite color is ORANGE always has been always will be. Ice cream is the greatest food ever, and yes, it’s a food. Trust me I am chef lol. My favorite movie is The Devil Wears Prada because I use to watch it with my mom growing up and it always brings back good memories. I LOVEEEEE TRAVELING! I play the guitar. Some part of me believes I am a real life unicorn in training. I love games. People are my favorite thing that exists. I love HUGS a very big amount. I think I am a much bigger Taylor Swift fan than I know but Ben Rector is my favorite artist. Stormy weather makes me smile. I love to read and do my best to read every book that is honestly recommended to me. I still sleep with a stuffed animal, a moose named Jeffery. I love to smile and to laugh and to help others do the same as often as possible. My Dad is my favorite person to laugh with. I have 9 tattoos each telling a different part of my story. Coffee makes me tired and sleepy so I am a tea guy. London fogs are my jam. Dancing is the best and I think everyone should do it! I take photos because I love it.
