Sunrise at Vasquez Rocks

There is something truly special about the morning! Something about waking up with the sun just feels right. This day was no exception! some of you might be thinking. Sure the sunrise is great and all but not as great as my morning coffee or an extra few hrs of sleep. Though I know for the true adventurers out there, we would give up any amount of sleep for a moment that might be worth it!

Cassie + Mike are amongst the adventurers! We all woke up before the sun to experience a still, quiet and chilly morning at Vasquez Rocks in Santa Clarita, CA. Although it was early there was no shortage of energy. There was so much excitement that we decided to kick things off with a little game of tag.

being in such a beautiful place exploring was a must on the to do list and we were in a place that felt like what would be the ultimate jungle gym for the little kid still inside each of us.

although it was my first time to this stunning location. I lead the way seeking out the perfect spots for us to stop and capture different moments of Cassie & Mikes history that deserved remembrance.

Cassie + Mike were up for absolutely everything! Getting to witness them hanging out was a true gift! The love that they have for one another was more then visible that day but it was felt it the air. So much so that some of those feelings bled right into the photos themselves. They danced, they nuzzled in close, they explored to the hearts content.

It was a true pleasure and honor to catch these memories on such a beautiful Spring Morning!
