Spada Lake WA — To Give Of Great Worth

It was a Thursday Morning in Bothell Washington when we decided that Spada Lake seemed like a good find for our shoot that afternoon. This would be a first time for all of us but adventure was in the air.

John Caleb & Emma don’t need to know what a place will be like to know they will have a good time there long as they are together.

We drove together and as we got closer to our destination the excitement continued to grow in each of us. After a beautiful drive through the forest we arrived and to our surprise we were the only ones at Spada Lake that day!

being that it was our first time the exploring began. I let John Caleb & Emma take the lead at fist capturing a few moments of them adventuring together as we scouted our new find for the perfect spots to stop. It did not take long before we were down by the water creating memories.

John Caleb & Emma hung out together as if the world melted away around them. Capturing a few piece of there story felt so effortless because they honestly light up when they are around each other. I have never known anything less then love to cause such a beautiful interaction.

John Caleb & Emma were up for every prompt I could think of and this shoot by the lake was an absolute dream! As the sun started to set we decided to head on back before it was dark and then something magical happened.

I remember thinking on the way up to the lake as we drove through the trees. How perfect it would be if on the way back we caught the perfect patch of light coming through the trees onto the road. It was as if God read my mind and orchestrated the perfect moment for us to stop and play in the middle of the street for a few more memories.

I will never forget my first shoot in Washington! Special dose not even begin to describe it.
